PROMO MAN

Robert D. Morritt

Availability

This book concentrates on how to apply recording techniques to enhance or make a professional recording, the latter part of the book concentrates on the author’s own exposure to the recording industry in the hey-days of the early to mid 1960’s with much input on the era and

relevant artists.

For those enjoy learning sound techniques and to familiarize themselves with actual studio situations this book is a must.  For those that enjoy collecting recorded repertoire it throws light on the background on how recordings achieve their sound, early record releases and the success of early groups.

After being on the periphery of the industry for over half a century I felt it now appropriate to share studio techniques and what life was like to be a ‘Promo Man’ in that halcyon era!
